Vision & Purpose

We exist to provide housing for teen moms and their children who are homeless or living in unsafe living conditions that extends God’s love and reframes their vision of home.

Beyond Just Housing – Holistic Support for Young Moms

The GraceSon home and HOPE Program offers holistic support to homeless teenage mothers and breaks the cycle of generational poverty by providing safe housing, basic needs, mentoring, life-skill coaching,  and access to vital resources. We care about every aspect of our residents’ lives, empowering and equipping them with the skills needed to be independent and health adults.

There are approximately 6,000 teen births in the state of Washington each year (www.teenpregnancy.org). Estimates for Spokane County indicate that there are approximately 400 teen births in our community every year. Teenage mothers face a higher risk of severe health problems, dependence  on public assistance, dropping out of high school, and living in poverty; their children face the same detrimental risks as well.

We believe every young woman and child deserves to be loved unconditionally and to experience life to its fullest. We desire to extend God’s limitless Love and Hope and to help break the cycle of poverty, substance abuse, physical abuse, and neglect  in our community.
