Vision and Purpose

We exist to provide housing for teen moms and their children who are homeless or living in unsafe conditions that extends God’s love and reframes their vision of home.

Beyond Just Housing – Holistic Support for Young Moms

In 2017, it was estimated there were 3,200 teen births in the State of Washington (www.teenpregnancy.org). These numbers reflect a decrees over the last several years; however, there is still approximately 14.8 births per 1,000 girls (15-19).  Teenage mothers are at higher risk of severe health problems, dependence on public assistance, and dropping out of high school which has been linked to living in poverty (www.poverty.ucdavis.edu). Their children face the same risks. GraceSon Housing Foundation, through the HOPE Program, offers holistic support to teenage mothers in need which will have a generational impact in our city. Our goal is to empower and equip every teenage mother who comes into GraceSon through support, community living, education and life skills training. Our core belief is that every teenage mother and her child deserves to experience unconditional love and support to be successful. Through practical displays of Christ’s love and the hope He offers, our goal is to see transformation for these young families and the community as a whole.
